Rejected, since the real estate company already has a site listed in the appropriate local category. The usual recommendation applies -- if you want to promote those pages, place a link to it from the site already listed.

Thank you hutcheson for your reply.

I have searched for my site in DMOZ. And it is no where to be found. I have searched for other sites that may have something to do with mine and cannot find them anywhere. Is it possible to contact someone in regards to this? Or how do I proceed?

Thanks in Advance

Nick

Thanks again hutcheson.

I see that yes axnrealty is listed in the directory. What do I do about getting that rejection lifted? AXNmls is a Multiple Listings System open to all realtors in Costa Rica. It is a listing service. The only similarity is that AXNrealty is one realtor who is a member at AXNmls but they are not associates. We are not trying to drive traffic from one site to the other. If worse comes to worse I don't mind swtiching the axnrealty to axnmls as it is more important to have axnmls listed.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not going to happen. First, it isn't your place to request such a change if as you say they're just a member of your listing service and not your own company. Second, the member agent sites can/will be listed but not axnmls.

AXNmls is a listing service like the MLS you find in the US or Canada. At AXNmls we have much more then just listings we have valuable resources, such as buying and selling tips, laws, maps, etc. There already are companies listed in the category in question which have multiple realtors. I do not see why AXNmls cannot be added to the directory and I am not here to dispute why it should or should not be accepted. I simply would like to know what process do I take to talk to the people who I can explain my case to, so they understand we are a very valuable resource for Real Estate in Costa Rica and are not trying to submit multiple URL with the same content.

How do I proceed? Thank you in advance.

Just like to make a comment to this. AXNmls is doing the same as the American-European group in the exact same category as it was submitted to.

American-European Real Estate - Features property listings, country information, members and concept details.

Also in each of the province sub categories there are several duplicates of sites.

I am just giving you guys the facts so you don't think i'm trying to be a pain in the rear, but honestly I think this is an un-fair judgement and I would really like to find out how to talk to someone who can rectify this problem after I explain my case.

How would I go about doing this?

Appreciate any help!

TIA.

You are talking to them.

You are still labouring under the assumption that rectification hasn't been achieved for this site -- an assumption not shared by your audience.

You are still labouring under the misapprehension that your "explanation" provided information that wasn't already known and taken into account in the original decision and the various re-reviews.

There is no chance at all of a successful approach without changing your approach to account for these errors.

>>The only question I have is how can I get the AXNrealty.com link removed from the San Jose category.

You can't. It's not your site.

When the editor of the category told you to remove the link to axnrealty.com, I can only presume that he meant remove links to it from your site, not from the ODP.
