I tried listing this site a few months ago (forgot all about it actually). Checked today and it is not listed in the directory, I tried submitting again but it responded 'Site Exists' ?

I would have submitted here:
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/Devon/Braunton/

Does this mean it has been accepted and should appear in the next update ? I was confused with the response so thought to ask here.

Yes. I listed it there on 27th July.

Cool.. and thanks for the prompt reply. Any ideas when or how often updates to the directory happen ?

Normally, "within a day or so."

We are in the middle of implementing a New and Wondrously Better Update Scheme, which will be working "Real Soon Now".

If you are a programmer, you'll understand what "RSN" means. FWIW, we have a good programmer on the job, and it is one of the highest priorities right now.
