Hi,

I submitted my site http://www.brazilclassifieds.com 2 years ago (and mid this year as well)

to

http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/South_America/Brazil/Business_and_Economy/

I note some regional countries has a category for classifieds like

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Australia/Business_and_Economy/Classifieds/

maybe one can be opened for brazil ?

I would really appreciate any comments on the site by an editor if my site does not meet the guide lines, maybe via private post. I would just like to learn how I can improve.

If we have enough listable classified ads sites covering the entire country to support a category, we'll create one. Right now, we don't have any -- and that, BTW, is counting after yours was reviewed.

Having categories for ads is a nice idea (hardly original, but it works if you have lots of ads.) But only the ads in them actually count as content. Come back when the site is alive -- that is, lots of real activity, buyers and sellers and actual legitimate classifiable ads. Not just empty categories, or a few pizzley links to spammy websites we'd never have listed anyway.

The problem for you, for us, for everyone, is everywhere always the same: unique content, organized so it can be found without depending on external things (like, for instance, Google or the ODP).

If you have that, then we get interested. If you don't have that, then you have nothing.
