Hey Editors, first: Great job you guys do, I really admire your work to the Internet community.

Now my question is: Canadian Content Technology should be listed at http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Directories/ but I checked my listed as I saw a referral in my logs. So I went to check it out and saw my site had been removed. (Additionally, I went to submit-a-site to resubmit incase it had been removed for some reason, but I get a "Site exists" notice).

I went back to the list later on and it's listed again. I hit refresh a couple of times and it was gone again.. Now it's still there, but I'm sure it might be gone again soon! Maybe a DMOZ cached copy of the page? No idea.. But would an editor mind looking into it? It's a very clean and legit site and I've put a lot of work into it ;)

Best Regards!

The ODP use a cluster of cache servers that mirror the content on our editors server. It might take a while for all servers to update, as they are updated on a random basis. (User requests a category, the server looks at the age of the cached copy and gets a new copy it if it is older than the age limit).

Thanks for your quick reply, windharp.

Do you know why it might have disappeared? It's still reappearing and disappearing from caches, thats why I'm worried it's gone. I'm truly boggled!

[EDITED LATER:]

It appears that this bug affects all public side CGI forms including "Become an editor" and several others. It also seems related to the effect that public HTML is going 404 and changing to a state it had years ago. Please be patient until our staff has found and eliminated the bug.

Site Removed (I believe)

Dear editors,

There was a few glitches with DMOZ a while back regarding older versions of the directory showing up which were ancient which was replacing the new data the category has gathered.

Now, the category it was listed under was http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Directories/ and the site's name and url are "Canadian Content Technology" and http://www.canadiancontent.net/tech/

It's a very clean site without "evil techniques" I've seen used by some of the people who post around here.

I would like to know if I can get the status on that? The edit date is Tuesday, December 28, 2004, so I believe it's the newest version of the directory page.

Assistance is much appreciated.
