Shortly after posting this request I posted a question about this domain and another domain www.classic-cars-worldwide.com, and Apeuro, one of your editors (and moderator on this board) responded stating that I should have only submitted the worldwide site. He also told me he was sending an email to the ODP editor to put a stop on the classic-british-cars submission.

For reasons unrelated to directories and search engines, I am NOT going to be submitting classic-cars-worldwide in the foreseeable future.

If possible I would like to proceed with the original www.classic-british-cars.com submission. If there is any thing I need to do, please advise.

Thank you for your help.

DMOZ servers are down right now, and I don't know what apeuro wrote, so I'm not going to comment on what can be done about your site.

I tried to surf your site classic british cars with Mozilla 1.1 because I like these cars. For an unknown reason none of the photos show up, whereas in Internet Explorer it's OK. I thought you might be interested to know that.

Please note that browser incompatibility does NOT prevent your site from being listed if it's worth it.

It's because the links to the images say "images\cbc1.jpg" instead of "images/cbc1.jpg", so any standards compliant browser should refuse to see them. Once again, this is irritating for people using non_Microsoft browsers, but it won't affect your listing.

Thanks for the advice on the path.

Arter DMOZ gets back up will you be able to advise me any further. Also, in an attempt to please the directory/search engine gods I did make an attempt to finish the classic-cars-worldwide site, but I have since learned the lovers of British cars and American Cars believe they have nothing in common and that a site which attempts to serve both must not give their particular preference the full attention it deserves. Therefore I will be creating classic-american-cars as a stand-alone site just as classic-british-cars is a stand-alone site. There will be no common content but each will contain a link to the other for the few that are interested in both.

Classic-cars-worldwide has not been, and will not be submitted to any directories or search engines. To my knowledge there are no outside links to this site.

If this breaks any rules please let me know.
