I have tried to add my URL to http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Recreation_and_Sports/Gambling/ but getting CGI script errors.
I was advised to post in this area to see if the script actually submitted the details as I have tried sending the request several times.

Your site isn't in the queue for that category. What sort of error were you getting? A copy of the error message would be useful.

error is shown after a considerable wait, I have tried at different times of the day and tried Netscape Navigator 7 and Internet Explorer (5?). I reported the error to the contact address and was advised (by Autumn) to try this forum to check if the details were processed. The error is :
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@dmoz.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

I have just tried to resubmit again today (after several failed attempts).
I have received a message advising that the script could not valigate my IP address but suggested that the site has now been added to the list for future aditions - can this be clarified please ?

The important part is that the submittal has been added to the list to be reviewed.

The "cannot verify IP address" means that it went into a "prereview" queue, where we take a quick look with intention of moving it on to the right category for review.

Don't worry. Be happy. Well, be paitent.
