I submitted about a month ago and would like to know if it is waiting for review

When I test the URL through the ODP editor functions, it *appears* that it hasn't been reviewed, and it hasn't been deleted. HOWEVER there was a small bug affecting sites beginning with D for just a few days, that meant that I might not have the full information available. This was two or three weeks ago, around the time of your submission. Please supply a clickable link of the category that you submitted to, and an editor within reach of that cat will be able to check it out in detail.


I note that your site http://www.diy-security-systems.com/ mostly just points back to http://www.neamatt.com/ . I hope only one of the two sites was submitted, and there aren't any other doorway domains pointing in either of these directions. You're a reseller for http://www.comlok.com/ . As I am lost in all the cross links, I am leaving this for another editor to peruse and persue.


Your 'About Us' link on http://www.diy-security-systems.com/links.htm points back to a local file: <a href="file:///C:/DIYWEB/about.htm" target="_blank">file:///C:/DIYWEB/about.htm</a> . If we know where you physically are, we could suggest a category in Regional for you. All your other contact info is actually at: http://www.neamatt.com/ rather than on http://www.diy-security-systems.com/ which does complicate things .




P.S. It is _NOT_ a requirement to do so, but it would be nice to run your site through a HTML validator (the few errors you do have can be easily cleared up using a text editor in about ten minutes), which would give your site a chance of working in all makes and versions of browser:

Yes its the same company eventhough we use http://www.neamatt.com (the parent company) for local sales and info on one specific product the Comlok that we resell and install locally in South Florida USA - we have no other doorway pages and www.neamatt.com does not have any security equipment for sale and you cannot reach the shopping cart from www.neamatt.com only www.diy-security-systems.com

I have not submitted http://www.neamatt.com and we don't plan to.
As for the about page I will fix that as its pointing to my c drive --- OOPS how did I miss that one.

PS I decided to have my shopping cart moved from the parent company to http://www.diy-security-systems.com just to make it easier for everybody. It was getting confusing for everybody including myself /images/icons/smile.gif

There are a lot of unreviewed sites in that category. I've checked the sites and you are still waiting in there. Because it is a shopping site I'm not sure it belongs where you submitted it, so I'm looking for a new location.

If you have a "real" storefront you can ask for a listing in the Regional tree as well, but I'd suggest adding information about your location on the site first.

Well the Shopping area points to the Business category, so it was the right location after all. I've listed it. Hopefully you'll be happy with the description.
