http://www.godtellsus.com/jesuschristsaves.html

Hi.

I don't know if I have a problem to worry about or not. My site ( http://members.truepath.com/jesuschristsaves/onlyonewaytogettoheaven.html ) was in the directory. I submitted a request to update the url because that was a free site whose host was cancelling free sites on 4/30. I moved the site to my own domain, and the new address is http://www.godtellsus.com/jesuschristsaves.html . I submitted the url update at
http://dmoz.org/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Christianity/Bible/Bible_Study/By_Topic/Salvation/ , where the old site was.

Today I see that the old address has been removed from the directory, but the new address is not listed. My question is: could you please check and see if the new url is still in line for its update? Or, do I need to submit the new url now like a brand new listing? (FYI, there is no editor in that section - the page is asking for volunteers to edit it.)

Thanks very much

Your main URL is listed in http://dmoz.org/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Christianity/Bible/Bible_Study/By_Topic instead, since it covers more than just Salvation.

BTW you should take a look at the javascript you're using for the little door image on the main page -- it keeps disappearing on me when I roll over it, making it impossible to click to the next page. Or at least put a text link at the bottom of any pages that only use the door graphic for navigation -- had I been reviewing the site, I would have thought it empty.

1) Thank you for locating the site for me. I'm so glad it is in!

2) I thought the opening/closing door was so cool. But, it is not worth keeping if I could lose even one visitor. Since I don't know enough about scripts, I'll switch to a static (regular .gif) door. Thank you so much for telling me!

Remember the distinction (I got it from Heinlein, who may have picked it up somewhere else) between "funny" and "funny once"? This kind of thing is "cool ... once."

A word to the wise: resist the temptation.
