Any status on this URL? There is no editor for the category that we submitted in - computers/software/testing services ...so we are wondering about its status.

Um, what category did you submit to?

It looks like you tried to create a clickable link, but instead gave us a second link to the site. Perhaps you could fix that?

Please re-read the "Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING" thread and lend us a hand by giving us the "proper" information we need to check?

Took a look at the URL and to be honest, "There really isn't much there".

Maybe between the now and the time it gets reviewed, substantial content can be added?

since it takes a while to get the URL listed in the directory, we went ahead of ourselves and listed the URL before the download is made avaiable. I suspected that would be a problem, but it is an information page for one of our products.
Do you suggest that we add more content on the page? Like a fact sheet of the product?

i put the entire URL and also tried one of the 'instant ubb code' links, just to be sure i am doing the right thing.

You need to include the http://dmoz.org/ part in order for it to make a clickable link to the category. So http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Testing_Services would be better.

Submitting before the site is complete is a Bad Thing, as noted on the submission form itself.

understood about the category - i thought all we need to make clickable is the site :-(
well, it is complete...but we know fully well that it is going to be 'upgraded' next week.
do you think re-submitting it next week will be a good idea? if not, what is our best option?

We (normaly) don't list deeplinks.

Normaly, because there always can be exceptions.

It's waiting for review still, but showing a submission date of August 7. There's really no need to resubmit -- it won't help, and if the editor sorts by date, it might make it take longer to get reviewed.

I'm sorry if my message seemed like I was trying to ask about re-submission. I understand it is under review and I will wait. I did not intend to re-submit. The subject said 'UPD' because the very original submission was on an different URL for the same page. It had very little content that was unique, so we re-submitted after modifying the page copy. But this update happened on Aug 7, so the current date that you mentioned should be fine, as an indicator on the date of submission.

Our main page has been accepted, but that main page is very different from this one, in that, this one is selling a product, but the main page is only talking about services.

Hope those are considered 'unique' enough to be categorized separately.
