The size of the pool is really not a reliable indication of the length of time a site will wait for review. A category with a large number of sites in the pool might become interesting to a volunteer editor at any time, and as a result, the wait might actually be shorter than for a category with only a few sites. Or it might not. We no longer give out information about the number of sites waiting in a catgory -- avoiding this type of misunderstanding is one good reason why we don't. We have no way of predicting when any particular site will be reviewed by one of our volunteer editors, but rest assured that your site will be reviewed just as soon as a volunteer editor has the time to donate and the motivation to review it.
