Thanks for the post. However, my site is not an affiliate site. We do use a third party to supply our content but that is all. We are responsible for all marketing and customer support. Almost all of the sites currently listed in the directory section I submitted to share their content from two or three suppliers.

Why can they have the privelege of a listing whilst my site cannot?

That pretty much says it all, doesn't it. From an ODP standpoint, that constitutes an affiliate relationship and so your site isn't listable. Sorry.
