Unfortunately, http://www.kalapohl.com is not showing in the unreviewed for that category at all: http://www.dmoz.org/Shopping/Visual_Arts/Painting/Artists/Acrylics/. I would recommend you resubmit. It is, however, pending in http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Hawaii/Arts_and_Entertainment/

[edited to add] I did visit the site, does she have a studio where people can visit and purchase paintings or does she only sell online?

She participates in art shows from time to time but does not have a set gallery. Which category would this best match with? She sells in person and online.

It's still waiting. There aren't a whole lot of sites waiting in the Arts and Entertainment category (several dozen, but not hundreds.) On the other hand, the there are a lot of other categories in the state which also need attention.

If you know anyone interested in editing in Hawaii, we could use a hand there. Encourage them to pick a subcategory with fewer than 100 sites and apply.

Just doing another check. Been another 4 months or so. Still waiting or has it been deleted or rejected? Thanks for your help!

I've tried applying twice to dmoz for other categories and always seem to be rejected so I kind of gave up already. Perhaps I will try yet again. heh
