It's only been a month since I submitted to the: Kailua-Kona Vacation Rentals category, but I'd like to check on whether there is a problem with www.kona-makai-condo.com because last time I submitted a site I waited 3 months only to discover the site had been reviewed almost immediately but rejected for a reason which was very simple to rectify.

This time, the submission hasn't yet been touched by an editor. It is assumed to be still in the queue, if received, as it hasn't been reviewed, deleted, or added yet.

There are only a couple of sites, or so, waiting in the queue, but it is unknown whether an editor may work through that category as early as tomorrow or sometime in several months time. An editor will most likely review all of the sites in the category at the same time, when it is finally done.

Aline, did you previously ask the status of your site here on resource-zone.com (or elsewhere)?

Anyway, as giz implies, I see your site is patiently waiting in the unreviewed queue.
