Back in November of last year I enquired about some difficulties I was having in getting the site http://www.lea-cars.co.uk listed under the following category: http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/Lancashire/Much_Hoole/ . At the time there were reported problems with submitting entries to the directory and the final upshot back then was that I had actually managed to submit the entry but that it had gone into an auxiliary queue as opposed to the correct category queue due to problems at the time of submission.

Extract of text of my mesage on 14/11/02

I've taken your advice and tried again just now and things are getting better.... in that the error message this time is at least one that means I know it has got through to Open. Am now getting the "Sorry, we could not determine your IP address for this submission. This may be because your browser or ISP has cached the previous page. Your submission has been redirected to the misplacd submissions folder. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Please go back in your browser and resubmit the form." message. "

The advice received from Hutcheson and others as a result of this message and earlier postingswas very helpful and much appreciated. I am now ,however, wondering when I should consider trying again to submit this directly to the correct category or whether someone could take a look at this one for me as usually the local Lancashire categories are very quick to be dealt with whereas this seems to have joined a rather larger queue... Please advise.

On a positive note it is great to see the directory update for searches is now working again.

Your submission of November has arrived in that category and is the only one waiting for review there now.
