I submitted the above URL a few times to the
http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Health/Vision/Contact_Lenses/
category and I have also tried emailing the reviewer for a status but have not received any replies.
The site used to be listed in this cat before.

Could someone please help get our site listed again?

We are just looking at how many mirrors you tried (repeatedly) to submit for inclusion ( www.lens.com , www.justlenses.com , www.123lens.com ... ), hoping nobody notices.

What part of the Do not submit an URL that contains only the same or similar content as other sites you may have listed in the directory. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites notice, which is found in all submission forms, you didn't understand ?

Can you please get our main site www.Lens.com listed?

I know it looks bad, but those sites were either mergers or acquisitions that Lens.com made and were not intentionally used to spam the directory. We can provide purchase contracts for all of the sites, most were purchased from eye doctors that wanted out of the biz.

Before being Lens.com, we were called JustLenses.com thus why we continue to keep that site up because we want to make sure that our old clients do find us.

Contact lenses are a repeat product and the customers keep coming back time after time to buy their lenses. We only wanted to be available under all those names until we transitioned over to Lens.com. The transition is almost there but now the main site is not available to the public on DMOZ.

Lens.com is one the top 3 contact lens companies and users will be looking for us under that name. Pease add our main site so the public can find us.

Relax. Your site is waiting in the queue to be reviewed along with over 50 others. It may take awhile to be reviewed but you're in the queue -- so don't resubmit it or any of the mirrors to that or any other category.

Thank you again for the information and for checking on our site, I will wait for an editor to get through the backlog of sites and will not re-submit.

With 50 sites queued for review and no editor to review them is there any way of telling how long it will take for our site to be reviewed?

Can one of you please do something about our situation. Another 2 months has passed.

After waiting and waiting I decided to re submit our site and followed it with an email to the cat editor.

Well, no reply and no site review just as expected it.

Please list our site in the directory.

The editors working in the Shopping category are busy. They seem to keep finding more duplicates/mirrors/clones of www.lens.com.

My guess is that when the editors can identify the legit sites they will start adding them.

There is a way in which you could help us out here. Presumably you know which companies you've bought, and therefore which sites you have acquired through mergers. If you can provide us with a complete list of every single website that you now have control of, we can carefully check which ones are listed and which ones aren't. Then we could happily list the main website knowing that there's no extra investigation work to be done.

If you're not happy posting a complete list on a public forum, you can pm it to either me or cleve or motsa, or any other editor you feel you can trust. Please make sure the list is accurate. Just one single omission would lead us to believe that you aren't being entirely honest with us, and then we'd be back where we started.
