Could I get a submission status update for http://www.mightymedia.co.uk please?

It was submitted to

http://dmoz.org/Computers/Multimedia/Companies/M

but I notice this category doesn't have an editor. Will the site still be reviewed?

Yout URL is waiting with a not so small amount of other sites in that category.

Its quite usual that categories have no listed editor, since the number of actual editors is far smaller than the nujmber of categories. If you look at the DMOZ main page it stated there are 460000+ categories and that there where about 54000 editors till today (including those who did not contribute to the directory for some time). All editors of higher-up categories (5 of them listes at the Computer/ level) and about 250 editall+ can access the category anyway.

If this is the apropriate category, submitting somewhere else would not do you anything good, siunce the submission would be moved to this category anyway. Except, if the company has a brick and mortar site, it may be listed in the apropriate town in the regional part of the diectory, too. Try submitting it there in the meantime.

I've read here of submissions being put to the back of the queue for re-submitting. Would submitting http://www.mightymedia.co.uk to the regional category have an impact on my earlier submission?

Nothing new unfortunately. This is a backlogged area of the directory with a lack of good volunteer editors.

By the way, you wrote that you were going to submit to the category of your town, too. But it doesn't seem your submission ever got to Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: England: Buckinghamshire: Bourne End.
