You were listed on the 7th of October, but if you scroll down to the bottom of the search results you will see a message that currently says:

Until the search database is refreshed (which I doubt will be until next Wednesday at the earliest due to maintenance work) you won't show up.

Assuming you are searching directly at dmoz.org, it can talk half a week to a week for the search database to be updated; that is the most likely cause of not finding your site in a search.
If you are searching at, say, Google Directory, it can take them (and other downstream users) months to update their data from us.
