Hi all,

About a 30 days ago, and again more than a week ago, I applied to include our site: http://www.ofertapc.com in the category:

Top: World: Español: Países: España: Economía y negocios: Compras: Informática

Our site sells to spanish people, used computers with free internet access

This small category doesn´t have an editor.

If anyone could supply a status on it I would be grateful. I just want to know if we sended the form correctly and our site is in the queue or rejected.

Clickable category URLs do help - http://dmoz.org/World/Espa%f1ol/Pa%edses/Espa%f1a/Econom%eda_y_negocios/Compras/Inform%e1tica/ (especially for categories with 'foreign' characters in).

That category has a handfull of sites awaiting review, but yours is NOT one of them. There is also no record of your site being 'touched' by an editor - are you sure that the category above is the one you submitted to?

Please be patient and avoid any additional submissions as resubmitting pushes your position in the queue back the most recent submission date for those editors who sort by date.

It could a be while (from a little, to a good long while) for your submission to be reviewed as editors are volunteers and may be on vacation or have a heavy new submission load (or both).

Your best bet is to watch here for an editor with access to that category to check the new submission queue to see how many submissions there are waiting and perhaps give you an idea. Patience is above all essential.

Please cut and paste the URL bar of the ODP category so you get a 'clickable URL' such as: http://dmoz.org/World/Espa%f1ol/Compras/Inform%e1tica/ - it makes our lives so much easier <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Your site is sitting in the unreviewed of http://dmoz.org/World/Espa%f1ol/Compras/Inform%e1tica/ with around a dozen other sites. It's only been there 10 days - which is 'no time at all' really. Just be patient and wait a few more weeks (I suggest around 2 months from the submission date to be honest with you).

I don't speak, read or understand Spanish in anyway, so I can't even comment if that is an appropriate place for your site or not...
