Then please go ahead and submit it, paying close attention to all the guidelines, especially about how to word titles and descriptions. You will find the link to submit the site at the top of the page - Suggest URL and the guidelines are to the left of that link under About DMOZ. Please also read the category description to make sure you are a good fit for it. Thanks.

I am not sure what you are asking or what you have done.

Im Interested In Having This Page Submited Into This Catagory
suggests you have not submitted it.

I have re-submited my request to have my website on the DMOZ directory.
suggests you submitted it, and have submitted it again. But it is not waiting there and there is no indication it has ever been looked at by an editor.

With all the changes to my listing made I am hoping that I have met your requirements.
suggests your site is already listed with us.

So some questions

1) Did you use the Suggest URL link on the category page you mentioned to suggest your website?

2) When did you do this?

3) Do you already have a listing with DMOZ. If so where and under what URL?

It appears that your site is still under construction. Most of the pages that might have information about something just say "In Order To Provide The Best Service Possible We Ask That For The Next Week You Click On The Image Below And Leave A Message Telling Us What You Will Be Looking For On The Website And We Will Be More Than Happy To Meet Your Request." You should really wait until the site is finished before submitting it.

If I can make a comment as a surfer rather than an editor, I'd like to suggest that your make your actual catalog of equipment (under construction as it is) a little easier to notice --> I would not have expected to find it in a section called Deliverys (I would expect that section to contain information about product deliveries, e.g. shipping costs and time). And you're using the W3C HTML button improperly since none of your pages actually validate.

Hi, sorry about that. The validators are not working properly because a friend made the site for me and I edited it and it screwed the things up. Working on fixing that. Please make any apropriate changes to my listing that you see fit. Including any catagory changes. I submited my site to you guys about 2 weeks ago and google tells me that it is in the dmoz directory. I cannot find it anywhere. The equipment catagory sounds far better. Please make any changes to my listing that you see fit to help me out with my ecommerce buisness. That would just melt my potato :$ The site is finished now. I just have not had a chance to make the changes to that live help button.

Please refer to my previous post and answer the first question -
Did you use the Suggest URL link on the category page you mentioned to suggest your website?

Click and have a look: http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/add.cgi?whe...phic_Information_Systems/Web_Feature_Services

This is important - your site is not waiting for review by an editor in the category you mentioned. We have no record of receiving it at all.

I submited my site to you guys about 2 weeks ago and google tells me that it is in the dmoz directory.
If you search Google on "partychief" then it does appear as one of the results but that just means that Google (the search engine) has found your website either on its own or because you submitted it to Google. It does not mean we, DMOZ, have received your site. Google and DMOZ are not the same thing.

If the answer to the question above is yes then you have submitted to DMOZ but either something went wrong in submitting it, or you submitted the site to a different category to the one you mentioned.

Is http://www.partychief.ca the only site you have, or do you have another with a different address? That is another possible explanation.

If we can get to the point where we know what you have actually done so far then we can move onto the next stage, like where your site actually belongs in DMOZ and how to get it there. And because you are an online shop, there are other possibilities.

Please do read what motsa said - I just looked at the site and it does appear to still be in a state of "under construction" - some products are missing their prices, some pages actually say they are under construction. And they are still under the menu headed Deliverys. To me it looks like the site sells maps and nothing else. Then I can't see a way of actually buying a map - http://www.partychief.ca/84m.php is the only one that works and that obviously still needs some work. Thinking it only sells maps that I can't buy I might well simply reject the submission.

So first thing - answer that question and we'll go from there!
