FYI. My company do work as trading agents in different product categories. Each product category is a different business unit in itself. We have 6 webpages as of today. All are using the same IP. Two of our domains used to be listed but not anymore, http://www.tvvgroup.com and http://www.sportswear4you.com. Are we doing something DMOZ do not like please let me know.

You seem to have spread your website (in our definition of the term) over multiple domain names. That doesn't automatically make it eligible for multiple listings.

Well we have three different companies in 3 different countries. Do you say that each can not have a webpage? TVV Group is just a name grouping our companies, actually there is no company named TVV Group. Please let me know the real problem for my site not being listed, as I am sure any company can successfully add several domains in case your editors finds it worthwhile to add.

Our different webpages are runned by different webmasters for different arget groups. They work with different suppliers and different buyers and do cleary want to differentiate themself.

Is the main problem for you that we are using the same IP for all, please advice

So, if I understand you right, we should promote each company individually. There are three different companies in our group, in Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. Each company, product group is individual for that particular country and product. The content managers are different allready.

I am mearly a webdesigner trying to understand...

You are doing something DMOZ does not like.

You may add links to all your various company sites from your own site.

If your company sites are so totally worthless that you do not even link to them from your own site, why should WE link to them?

If you do link to your companies from your own site, then ... we do not need to link to them.

In either case, we will not link to them.

Your directory is really good for a company who want to be visable on Internet. I could even concider to give up linking to them to get them there. The traffic I these pages get are from Internet and marketing campaigns anyway. And, if you had read my e-mail carefully, they are different business units we are trying to mix as little as possible. All in order to keep content valid and focused to highest extent. My friend, if you just tried to put your self on my end, you would see what I mean.

If the person most interested in the websites doesn't link to them, it's obvious that nobody else should either. So that is not a rational proposal.

You may create and promote as many sites as you wish--we won't tell you how to promote your business.

But we're satisfied with one link to TVV Group.

And we are VERY strict about this, because we have so many aggressive site-splitting submitters -- so it's a non-negotiable policy of this site. (We editors couldn't change it even if we wanted to: but knowing how much trouble it would cause us, we don't want to.)

and if you link all your sites from there, everyone will be able to find them from the ODP.
