Its waiting for review with about 100 other entries. Sorting by date (editors dont have to) it would be near the top.

No change - FYI: the update of the category was to remove a listed site that had gone 404'd.

Why didn't the editor review the sites while they were there? Well, it takes time to properly review a site and the idea of having "listed editors" for each category means that someone that is experienced and knowledgable about the subject matter will review the site. But when a site goes "404" (or, in ODP terminology, 'turns red'/'marked by Robo/Robozilla') editors may remove (or move to unreviewed) the site that is showing up as 404d. This takes a matter of seconds and all the editor needs to be able to do is check the site isn't available. They don't have to worry about checking for duplicates (either a site is 'dead/404' or it isn't), haven't got to check for original, useful content, haven't got to think of a good title and description etc etc.

Btw: If your site does qualify as "Having content" I dont see a reason for being so nervous. And thats something you should know best yourself <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

Changes could have many possible reasons, for example a link to an alternative language that was changed, ya typo that was corrected etc. ppp.

Sorry, my nervousness is actually concern that I perhaps did not submit to the correct category.

The publicly viewable page for that category was generated in early June. You can see the date on the bottom of the category page. It's stale because of our upgrade effort which, we hope, is just about done.

The real page behind it is being actively edited. Quite a few sites have been added each of the past few months, and you'll see them when the upgrade stuff settles and the pages are being refreshed again.

The bad news, from your point of view, is that there's still quite a backlog. Your site awaits review there, but I can't predict how long it will take to review it.

If I were you, because of the backlog, I'd wait several months between status inquiries.
