It's awaiting review in that category along with less than 50 sites. There is no need to resubmit.

Many thanks for your prompt response.

Is there any timescale that you could let us know? Can you be more specific with the no. of sites waiting? We are anxious about our inclusion as we know how valuable it can be!!

Any extra info. you can provide us with is greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance... <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

Nope - all editors are volunteers and are human. Hence they may decide to edit the area where your submission is awaiting in the next five minutes, or they could just not have any interest in the area and avoid it like the plague. It is impossible for us to give timescales.

More than 30 and less than 50. We try not to be too specific with the "unreviewed queue size" as a) it could change up and down within minutes (usually when I check the queue size I usually remove obvious spam), b) submitters would may take it as meaning something more than the size of the queue.

Thanks once again for your lightening fast response!!

That's helped us alot. We were hoping for it to be all processed and done by the next Google update...so we'd improve there, and in AOL etc. If not the next one then defiantely the one after that, the January end refresh.

Can you forsee any problems occuring when our request for inclusion is processed? Any obvious reasons that would act against us that we can clear up now to prevent a problem in the future? That would be a big help to us.

Many thanks, again!! <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

It is now approximately 6 months since we submitted to Dmoz, and there is still no sign of our site (http://www.safariquip.co.uk) appearing in the Dmoz index.

We submitted to catagory http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Travel/Accessories/

Can you please inform us of whether we are still awaiting review or if we have been rejected?

If we are still waiting, can you give us a rough figure (We know you don't give exact amounts) of how many people there are above us in the que.

Many thanks,

Dave

And another time: There is no queue in the traditional meaning. There is a number of sites that can be sorted in many different ways.

Your site is still waiting.

Thank you for being patient for so long. Your site appeared to be listed elsewhere, but a check shows otherwise. This might be due to your comments in the first posting; "3 - 4 submissions made over the last few months. No results as yet."

Based on the above information, your original submission has been processed and will show up shortly.

A further 6 weeks since my last post, and still no sign of the site appearing.

Can you confirm that it will show up in the next re-indexing of Dmoz and an approximate time of when this will be?

We were told (see above) that we had "been processed" and "would show up shortly"

Please provide any information you can.

Many thanks for your continued help

Dave

The site is in the ODP database but there have been technical issues with the public pages not regenerating. This I gather is related to a recent server upgrade and will be resolved in due course.

Some oddities I noticed included the that the site is listed in the ODP mirror http://ch.dmoz.org/Shopping/Travel/Accessories/ . It is not however listed in the corresponding google category but a google search on the url says that it is.
