www.thediscounthunter.com waiting since 11/03!

Hi there, I submitted my site www.thediscounthunter.com to DMOZ http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Recreation/Outdoors/Hunting/Optics/
last November and once or twice since. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or not. I am glad I found this forum so hopefully it will help to fix whatever isnt working and maybe soon I can be included thank you!-Amy

I see no evidence that an editor has touched your submission, but someone else with better permissions will have to give you a status check. I do want to address of few of the issues you raised.

1. Review times can take more than two years, and Shopping is one of the most backlogged areas of the directory due to the amount of spam and abusive submissions that editors have to deal with.

2. Once you receive a confirmation from another editor that your site is in one of the submission pools, all you can do is wait.

Hopefully someone knows!

Thank you and I hope someone else will come along with more specific information. I just feel that I am buidling a quality site with alot of relevancy and alot to offer the public and as much as I am beginning to understand how long this might take, I just hope to be one of the lucky ones Thanks, Amy

Hi there I submitted my site to DMOZ in November of 2003 to http://www.dmoz.com/Shopping/Recreation/Guns/Accessories/Optics/
I never heard anything about and was never included in DMOZ so I posted here about a month ago. The editor who responded to my thread said something like "It looks like your submission has never been touched. So evidently, it was received it is just sitting there not being looked at. I was told to post again in a month if nothing happens, so here I am Oh, I also emailed the editor for my category the same night I first posted here and never heard back.

I have feeling that something just isnt quite right and I hoping for some advice, thank you!
