Although I have good page rank in many of search engines I have not yet been accepted in DMOZ. I have recently submitted. Please let me know if something about the site is considered not to your standard or I just haven't been edited. I don't want to resubmit if that is the case and would like the opportunity to correct any error.

The submission awaits editorial review in the category. I did not review the site, I just checked if it was there. When an editor gets to it, which could be 2 years from now, they will do the site review.

You do not have to resubmit. Thanks for the site suggestion.

Hi again:

I have been thinking since the last reply that you were joking when you said that the above web site was submitted and it might take 2 years to get to it. Maybe you are not joking.
Could you tell me an estimation and if it is in fact two year, I better stop checking every day......this is such a coveted status. DMOZ!

Yes it it possible. I've reviewed sites in the same category some waiting more than two years, and some done the same day. It's much too stressful to check your site on a daily basis.

We are not joking, although 2 years is on the extreme side, thankfully. I have no idea what the average is but it should be closer to 3 months by my reckoning. It may even be tomorrow if you're lucky.

I am not familiar with the process of using threads and this is my best guess. Please excuse as I am new at forums. I would respectfully request a check on whether this web site has been denied or is still waiting. It has changed since the initial submission...will the most recent changes be edited or will it be the original submission. Thank you in advance for your help

I am appealing for help checking out the above site for submission status as it has been just over a month since the original request. Again, please excuse if I am not following correct guidelines..or posting incorrectly. I can't find out if I am using the "reply" correctly. I need a basic manual..on participating in a forum .maybe there is one somewhere that I can use.

When a business in chooses to have has its content spread across several domains with similar content editors have to make a judgment call along the lines of lets list Url A and label B and C spam. The process is fairly arbitrary as all of the Urls are spam but we do want to include the content in the directory if possible.

What can happen is that because there can be many editors working in the same area of the directory all 3 can be labeled spam. This is what has happened to your site. This shouldn’t happen but is a potential side effect this sort of web promotion activity.

Now the current situation is that your site is sitting with a number of other sites of which many are mirrors, entry pages and other sort of spam. When an editor is prepared to hold his nose and dive into this pungent assortment of sites it could be that your site will be listed.

I have revised this site and simplified it....could you let me know if I am breaking any rules? I would have resubmitted the site with a different host (one that is not a re-direct) and I have added more content etc.
Is it being reconsidered? Or is it rejected as it has never appeared in your directory.
