Hi! I would like to request the status of the website i have submitted, www.tvsavers.com under Shopping>General Merchandise>As Seen on TV . There are about 8 links currently listed with no editor in this category.

I would like to know how many sites are queued under this category and how long do you think will it take.

Nope, it was the site as a whole. I can't envision any changes you could make that would suit both our purposes and yours, so I'd suggest you forget about dmoz and pursue other avenues of marketing.

Then why are some stores selling similar products listed on that category?

Can I also ask for a reason why the "site as a whole"?

Misconception: If there's a site just like yours listed, yours should be too.

Fact: The exact opposite. We're looking for unique content.
