Hi there,
I did submit this web site http://www.ugandaonline.net on 24/Sept/2004 and Im not surprised it is not there because a month has not elapsed anyway.

However my point is this category http://dmoz.org/Regional/Africa/Uganda/Business_and_Economy/ has not been updated for a period of over eight months or so .

I happened to pass by and wow this time i noticed a change(Last Updated August 2004) in when it was last updated but with no changes at all.I wonder whether there are no sites being submitted even after I have submitted some and again seen them no where?Should I assume all submissions in the last eight months have been rejects or there has been no submissions at all?Thanks..

Watching the date of category updates and trying to determine what, exactly happened, is a fast highway to a migrane headache.

There are many editing actions that a person can take, some are visible to the public, some are not; some result in the update date changing, for others the date does not change.

You should assume nothing when the date changes.
You should assume nothing when the date does not change.

As you say that could be a fast highway to Migrane Headache.So all that has to be done for now is to give it a minimum of say two years.
