NO. The editors expect that most sites are submitted to the wrong category (and of course sites that aren't submitted have no pre-guessed category!) We're used to moving sites to the right category based on their unique content. In this case the right category, in the editor's judgment, was dev/null. That would be true regardless of whether the site had been submitted at all, let alone where it had been submitted.

No site is ever guaranteed a listing.

We list sites with significant unique content.

The editor didn't see that here. End of story.

We don't know what will happen in the future. You may find some unique content. All the other sites that have that same content might die. Microsoft might buy AOL and start selling listings.

But today, unique content rules. And that's an end of it.
