Hi submitted this site to this catergory, any movement in the near future (the business is registered in Ireland) also 2 other cats (they match criteria,is this a rule breaker ?) thanksfor your help

Ok, I'm a little confused. To begin with you don't include contact info on your page (email doesn't count). This is critical when submitting to a Regional category. Secondly, WHOIS states that voxtreme.com is registered in Missouri. Additionally you quote your prices in dollars, not Irish pounds (punts). Your site gives absolutely no indication it's based in Ireland - so why would you want to be listed in that category?

Regional listings are based where your business is located. More specifically, in the locality of your business address.

The submission was removed from Ireland because the reviewing editor couldn't find any evidence that you were based there (as in no contact address on the site), and because your prices are displayed in $. Also, your WHOIS record points to a US address.

You are supposed to submit to the single most suitable category, but sites are sometimes listed twice, once in Regional and once elsewhere.

[Edit: apeuro got there first /images/icons/smile.gif. BTW, Ireland uses € now, not punts /images/icons/wink.gif]

Here is a hint, when looking for the proper category look for your competition or sites like yours. You could have done a search on dmoz.org on web hosting and that category would have shown prominently. Search is your friend /images/icons/smile.gif

Very good question, I don't know - I am not an expert in Business and unfortunately I did not look in the Business category to see if there were sites like yours listed before I posted. Take any advice I give you on the Business branch of the directory with a grain of salt /images/icons/smile.gif

P.S. I have been with ODP for two and a half years and I am still learning every day.
