Forget the six months, that means the site is permanently rejected.
But you clearly need it - if you persist in submitting related sites (from the same stable in the same general topical area) then all your sites will be excluded, which means the one that is listed being removed. Up to you, your risk. Fraternal mirror doesn't mean an exact copy - please check your terms.
I'm glad you feel that way, perhaps you will forget us as a marketing medium for your sites - we are not a commercial listing service and we don't exist to serve your marketing interests. Since you already have a site listed there is no reason to ever submit another site to us, nor check the status of one.
I never said that DMOZ existed to serve my firm's marketing needs. I conveyed a basic business concept that companies with different business units share similar branding materials. Perhaps you should read more carefully.
Again, you make no sense. I'm part of a Web Design firm which means I design Websites for clients. I along with others in my firm submit sites here and to other paid directories.
You're telling me not to submit sites here. Why? (Me thinks oneeye is sensitive.) Are you sensitive? Or perhaps you're just a sour puss.
Since you're sharing unwanted advice, here's some needed advice for you. Your tone comes off as extremely angry. I suggest you think about what you say on a public forum. You're a volunteer asked to review sites submitted to DMOZ, meaning you represent DMOZ and your conduct reflects DMOZ's public image (that's marketing by the way since you seem to know little about that subject... actually that's just common sense...).
Did you have a bad day? Did someone close to you give you some bad news? Reflect on why your reaction was so severe. I've been extremely patient (1 year) and I've been asked to resubmit by your fellow DMOZ editors.
I highly doubt that your reaction was what DMOZ considers proper.
Lighten up... life's too precious for such idiocy.
