What do I do about the timeout? This is what I get...

It's a known problem and being worked on. I'm afraid the only helpful advice I can offer is to try submitting again when it's very late at night or early in the morning in California.

It's waiting for review in http://dmoz.org/Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Public_Relations/Copywriters/ with several hundred others. It's probably going to be a while -- I'd suggest waiting a few months to check back.

In the meantime, if you maintain a physical presence (or have regional relevance), you may be eligible for a listing in your locality. If you like (and it seems appropriate), you can find your locality and submit there while you're waiting.
