Hello,
I got my editor account approved this morning,I logined only once to change my profile,it was no problem then.
However, just now it seems my account is inactive - I can't login to my account.
I'm sure I typed in the correct username and password.
(my username is alexsky)
Can you please check that for me?

Thanks for your help! :)

Seems to be a problem a lot of people are having. I have no clue as to the cause. I've alerted staff, but it's the weekend, so don't expect anything until monday. Meanwhile keep checking your passwords, and I'll see if anything cane be done to help resolve this.

alexsky, trying logging in again, I just reset your password to the one on file. I want to know if it works, then I can fix everyone who posts or e-mails me manually.

I've reset all three of your passwords, you should now be able to login to your dashboard, although maybe not immediately to the forums (took 3 hours or so to get access to the forums in another case today).

[sorry enarra, hadn't seen you posted again...]

FYI FWIW: Hulkster is locked out also.
Hulk approved for editing a few weeks ago.
Hulk SMASH his category
Hulk also SMASH some BlankBusters.
Hulk SMASH keyboard to login to dmoz, still not work.
Hulk's keyboard doesn't work too well now ... ;-)

Dang, that Big Green Guy gets carried away - good thing I buy keyboards by the case! ;-)

As implied above, the lockout for me (Hulkster) started last night - and I'm still stuck - I even had the password Emailed to me and confirmed that it hadn't changed, but still doesn't work.

I've mentioned in Email to another Meta, but just an FYI that the old password file (or whatever it is) may go back a few weeks - if super-duper easy to reset mine, that would be great - otherwise, I'll just wait until things are resolved for everyone.

Works great - thanx.

Hulk has calmed down - he's not much fun when he's angry and starts smashing stuff! ;-)

Forums should let you in in a few hours (that's how it worked for some editors for whom I've done a reset today). :)

Mine also is locked out, username is "coverzero". Whenever you have the time to reset it would be greatly appreciated.

It takes up to 24 hours for a new editor's password to start to work in the forums. Try again tomorrow.

Hello!

I'm a new DMOZ editor and now having a problem with log in to my editor account. It seems the problem is the same as Alex Lai described in his first message in this topic...

Can anyone of Meta editors help me to solve this problem?

My editor account name is 'dsemenov'. Category I work in: Top: World: Russian: Страны и регионы: Европа: Россия: Субъекты Федерации: Ульяновская область

Thank you in advance.
