Hi,
I joined this forum about a month ago registered a username and password, recieved an e-mail from you at the time but today when I tried to logon my username had vanished and I had to re-register, why might this be <img src="/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" />

We had a database crash, and then discovered that the backups were corrupt, and had been for several weeks. Lots of newer members got wiped out, it was nothing personal.

Hi just logged in to check on the status of a web site and in the my profile section clicked on 'show all posts by this user' in order to find my previous enquiry. I was surprised to find the following post I am supposed to have made http://www.resource-zone.com/showflat.php?Cat=&amp;Board=status&amp;Number=27340 .This was made in may 03, what is this all about is some one else on this forum using my username

No, it's still the same problem (see the above posts by other editors) -- just a mixup that occurred in the database when the forum software was upgraded to a newer version. I agree it gives a bad feeling, but there's no foulplay here, I've seen it occur with other members
