Hello All.,

As you can see from my topic title, I like so many have added a site and have went through it thoroughly so that I have not added it to the wrong subjects and made sure all my information was correct. My friend suggested me to use DMOZ as it helps our page ranking massively. all I would like to know is how can I contact our editor and ask him if everything is ok and when can we expect listings, or if there is anything wrong. I appreciate that they may be very busy, but just a little feedback would be really appreciated.

I submitted a courier company to your couriers sections <URL removed>
Best regards,

Lee

There's no need to contact an editor.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

Hello Mr. jimnoble,

You say that the waiting time is a few days up to a few years (!).

I submitted my site a few months ago. I have patience, so I submitted once and wait.

Can you give at least some indication of when it may be listed or not? Can I get in contact with the category editor? Because if something went wrong, I would like to know about that, so that I can improve my site and re-submit it.

It'll be when some surfing volunteer wants to look for more of that kind of sites. More than that, NOBODY knows, and nobody CAN know.

You can check yourself to see if anything is wrong with the site. You yourself know (more than the category editor ever will) what unique information that website has--information that no other website has (or can have without copying it). If, with all that information at your fingertips, you don't improve the site IMMEDIATELY,--well then, we assume YOU really didn't want any improvements; and WE don't want a resubmittal.
