I Have Messed Up When Submitting My Site

Ok I hate to admit it but I did not read all the small print when submitting my site.

I submitted an adult site to multiple categories all of which were relevant in my view however I now realise I should have only selected one single category.

I apologise for my wrong doing but should I just sit back and wait for my submissions to be refused and thrown out? Will I receive a notification of this in due course or is there anything I can do rectify the situation in the short term.

I have for obvious reasons not given details of my site to avoid access by inappropriate users.

Any help or advice much appreciated and once agin apologies.

ok, a couple of questions and suggestions:

First - you say "multiple" categories. How many are we talking about? 2, 5, 50? The magnitude of this will definitely affect how people see your actions - whether it was being unaware of the way things are done, or a deliberate attempt to spam the directory.

Second - do you have a list of the categories where you submitted to? If so, then maybe something can be done.

Third - did you know that there is an Adult forum on this board that lets you post the URL and the categories that is restricted access, so that "inappropriate users" can't see it?

What I would suggest is that you get access to this forum - take a look at the bottommost forum on this board and you will see a place where you can request access to the Adult area. Then, plead your case, providing the list of categories, asking that your submission be removed from all but the one that you think is most applicable.

This will reduce the chances that the site will be seen as a spammer.

Hope this helps.

I think I submitted to no more than 5

Yes

Yes but it is not clear to me how to access it. It asked for a password, is this a different password to the one I already use as this does not work. I have submitted a feedback post requesting further advice and hope this is ok

Sounds fair enough to me as long as I can access this part of the forum

This will reduce the chances that the site will be seen as a spammer.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your kind assistance. Pleasureserve

No more than 5 shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, the password to access the Adult forum is different from the one you use to log in. You should get one via PM, if you have asked in the right place (The thread to request access to the adult forum)

Good luck.
