I have submitted my website into DMOZ.org on 27th July 2008 (5 months ago) and till now it is not listed in the directory (it is a jewelry site so it should be okay to list it).
Do you I have to submit it again ? I am afraid to be cancelled at all !
I kindly ask your help and advise. I really appreciate it.

You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

Oh, and there's no need to SHOUT at us.

I did not mean to be rude

Dear Mr. Jimnoble, thank you for assisting me with my problem. I did not mean to be rude or to shout at you or to DMOZ staff. I understand that it is a free job and a free directory. However, I have read in submitting giudelines that it should take 2 weeks or so to be listed. Here in the Forum it is mentioned that time frame is a few days. That's why I was worried about my listing and I did not know what to do?
I will wait as you advised but should I wait forever ? I mean maybe my submission did not reach the editor in the first place or missing in the cyber space. How should I know that ?
I mean it is simple to submit again but i do not want to complicate things and overload editors working.

Thank you again for your assistance.

No, you don't have to suggest it again. There are no time restrictions on when people can volunteer to suggest sites, or when volunteer editors can review suggestions. Every volunteer action is recorded, and kept until it's no longer useful.
