I may have submitted twice - can you check?

Hello Odp Forum,

I submitted to the directory below ... it hung for a bit and then rather than getting a "success" page I got a page about how to submit. But no error in betweeen. I did this twice with the same result.

Apparently neither one got through. (You need to resubmit.) If you don't get a message saying the submittal was received, it probably wasnt.



Don't worry about two submittals of a URL to the same category in quick succession. That nearly always gets handled by our automatic process, and the editor just sees the last one you did.

thanks I'll retry again - I havent been sucessful lately with submitting - it usually hangs and then I get a bad page error.

I've read alot of people having this same problem - even tried submitting late off hours w/o luck

Any suggestions?

Try putting two pencils in your nostrils, putting a pair of underpants on your head and saying "Wibble" repeatedly until it works.

Other than that, no, I can't suggest anything, other than waiting until our techie person gets the problem sorted.

Hmm, in the last few hours submissions seem to be working a whole lot better than before, according to some new posts recently seen elsewhere.

Yes - from the small trickle of new suggestions the last few weeks the amount seems to be almost back to normal today.
