I need to change the old site address but don't

My questios is that I have a site with the name http://costaricaenginebra.tripod.com/labarahundadecostaricaenginebramadeinusa/index.html
It was so long and I changed it name to http://costaricaenginebra.tripod.com/latinoamericasinfronteras/index.html
with the domain name http://www.latinoamericasinfronteras.com/
but when the people search in Google directory they find the old addres in which there is anything now except tripod site some says that this site have been moved or erased.
How is possible to update Google directory with the new address?
I deeply appreciated if you can help me.

Go to the category in dmoz.org where your site is listed and submit an Update URL request. If the real URL of the site is the tripod one then you won't get the vanity URL (www.latinoamericasinfronteras.com) listed.
