Well over 200 editors can work in that category if they so wish. If you were thinking of contacting one or more of them to expedite the processing of a listing suggestion, it probably have any effect.

Also, even if you do contact an editor, we discourage editors from responding to emails because such conversations have a habit of ending badly.

Finally, please read my signature.

What would you DO with that information you think you "need"?

You've already suggested the site? Then an editor will fix any problems in the description--if the site is worth describing.

You haven't already suggested the site? Then suggest it. Then an editor will fix any problems in the description--if the site is worth describing.

You don't ever suggest the site? Then an editor may find it some other way, and write a description--if the site is worth describing.

The site isn't worth describing? Then it won't matter what the description looks like, because nobody will ever want to look at it.

There aren't any other possibilities.

Editors are very used to rewriting proposed titles and descriptions to meet our guidelines. If you make some attempt to get it right to begin with, it'll be appreciated.

Poor titles and descriptions aren't a reason for declining a listing suggestion. If they were, we'd probably only have a few thousand listings, not millions.

No: The final screen of the transaction thanks you for your suggestion.

No:
If it's unlistable, there's no point telling you.
If it's listable but nobody's evaluated it yet, there's no point telling you.
If it's listed and thus visible in the category and in our search, there's no point telling you.
