I own a very respectable site.
It has won a People's Choice Award for investigative journalism.
It is not only unique, but is easily an "expert" in the field.
It has good traffic.
We rank #4 for relevant search terms on Google.
I made sure we were submitted to the proper category on DMOZ.

I submitted, waited a year and submitted again.

I'm sure my gripping will win me no favors but I do want to be on record.

OPEN should mean open.

Welcome to Resource-Zone, cfrn.

Before posting a rant as your first contribution to this forum, it would have been nice if you had read some of the previous threads on this topic, like this one. You would have noticed, that the definition of "Open" in ODP is a bit different from what you think it is.

It won't win you any disfavor, either, I think. :D

After gripping, though, one could always leap into action and apply to become an editor, and rectify such wrongs by giving some of his own free time to the cause, :) .
