I think I did not go deep enough into categ.

I submitted on 2-28-05 to society>relationships>advice however, it did not occur to me then that there was a deeper category that would prob. list my site, as of today, more accurately and that is beyond advice and articles.

My question is can I change in mid stream (apparently, it is in a review capacity as I write) to advice>articles or must it run it's review course in advice?

The editor will move it to the correct cat as a normal part of editing. This is easier and less of a hassle than having to deal with multiple submissions.
