I think our site was down when editor viewed it

I believe our site was down when a editor viewed it. I noticed in my logs this morning that it was viewed/hit by /editors/editcat-unrev.cgi cat=Computers/Internet/Web_Design[...]

This site is already listed in the “regional” section but we were waiting for the listing in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/S/

The site is SEO Ohio Web Design. The problem with the site is they are doing work on a major Internet Backbone connection provided by Quest Communications (not my host) this weekend and all sites that depend on it are down or working “very” slow at times and at other times the problem is not there at all (heads up if you are seeing an abnormal amount of sites down/slow). So please do not judge this incident as normal.

I've checked the logs, and there is nothing there to suggest that it has been deleted.

There is, however, a backlog of nearly 1000 submissions for that category, so don't expect to be listed any time soon.

They had told me elsewhere in this forum some time ago that there was quite a backlog. I won't hold my breath.

I'm working on that dreaded "S" category. We actually got it down under the 1000 mark this weekend - but it's still slow going. Only 975 more to go /images/icons/smile.gif

I just reviewed SEO Ohio Web Design, but it will have to wait now for an editor with regular permissions in that category to approve it. I only have limited permissions to review in that category, as I'm just helping to get it caught up. I don't think you'll have long to wait on that one as one of the other editors has been approving them pretty much the same day or the day after I review them.

It is now listed, as of this morning.
