Hello to all .

My name is Paul

I started a free online dating site 10 Months ago.

There is no charge to anyone on my site.

It has grown to over 15,000 Members.

I listed in the same area as Plentyoffish.com the most well known free site.

I know there are a ton of dating sites out there but does this keep my site from being listed?

maybe the editors just don't think your site will add any value to that category, just because you have so many thousand members doesn't guarantee listing. :/

This is a rather spammy area to deal with first of all, and as you say there are also endless supplies of sites. The editors don't seek to list every site on the topic, rather they seek to list the sites that are the most unique and content rich resources. Obviously in an area such as this, that is not a very enviable task. Mainly because its hard to find those really unique resources amongst the junk, so these areas often have a longer wait times for review. For listable sites that have not yet been included, the most probable reason is that no one has been brave enough to dive in and look for gems amongst the spam. To check if your site is listable you are encouraged to read the Guidelines for Inclusion and its always best to check out the charter (description) of the category that the site would be considered in, to make sure there is not a more suitable category before suggesting it.

the only thing that makes me unique is the site is free and unlike alot of the others there are no hidden charges...

also I work hard to keep nigerian scammers from contacting my members

alot of other free sites are loaded with garbage

but I guess it's hard to take someones word for it
