iBecame.com submission question

Greetings!

I recently submitted http://ibecame.com to the category http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Chat/HTML/.

I noticed that the category doesn't have an editor listed. Will this lower the chance of getting reviewed and/or accepted?

Should I resubmit to another category?

If possible, please let me know of the status of this submission.

It would seem that your suggestion ran afoul of our (imperfect, but getting better) spam filter. But your submission of October 1 is awaiting review in the category to which it was submitted.

Submitting to an inappropriate category wouldn't speed things up a bit. It would wait there until an editor moved it to the correct category, where it would wait again.

I'm going to ask a moderator to move this thread to the submission status forum. I suggest bookmarking it after it's been moved if you want to ask again about the status in a few months.
