I am brand new at this. It is a Landscaping company. After looking at the catagories I am so sorry but I CAN NOT remember the catagory I used! I'm so sorry - I think it was Home:Gardening:Landscaping:Grounds Maintenance but I now that I spent more time looking I think it should be Business:Construction and Maintenanceesignesign-Build - That would have been the best choice though. I hope this is not a problem but if anyone will direct me on what to do to know for sure before I submit this querie I will surely do so if contacted - Thanks so much - I will record the catagory and know for sure the next time I register a site.

If (as I suppose, like many other personal services companies) you have a business location, the site may [also] qualify for a listing under Regional, in the most specific category (Locality, usually) where the offices are located. Please check out our Regional subcategories and suggest the site in the most appropriate (specific) category. (and thanks.)

So ? By checking on the status now - Are you saying I can not do that now? What is my next step - Can you tell me if received properly and in the hand of an editor now? I guess - Please tell me what I do next and when.

No, we cannot check on the status either, which means we can't tell you.

I'd suggest starting by following my first suggestion above. If you do business internationally, you could also submit to the most appropriate (most specific) subcategory somewhere in Business.

A month after the latest submittal, you can bump this thread to check its status (that is, if you can provide us a clickable link to the appropriate dmoz.org category page).

Please do not start new threads for the same site.

We can only tell you the status if you give us a clickable link for the exact category you did the suggestion in.
If you can't remember the category you can resuggest the site (suggesting a site 2 times isn't seen as a problem by us). 1 month after your new sugegstion (not any earlier) you are allowed to ask for status. So remember the category. And please reuse the thread for any further questions.
