Importance of Postal Address

Hi,

Is postal address a must for getting listed in DMOZ?

What if someone provides consultation/support services only on Chat Or Email and they dont have or dont want to mention their postal address.

Are there any websites which are approved and have not mentioned their postal address on their website? Email, Phone and Chat medium is not sufficent for getting in DMOZ?


if postal address is a must, how do editors verify same?

For a site to be listed in the Regional/ tree, there must be some regional relevance, and a local address is usually the best way to show that. In other category trees, such as Computers/, Business/ and Shopping/ it often doesn't matter to the listing where the company behind the site is located.
