Ridiculous Wait Time
This is what I don't get. Followed the guidelines completely, reviewed everything, attempted to contact the editor a few times, yet still cannot get a listing for our site - one that has a high profile name too.
Our site is <URL Removed>. We've tried and waited over 3 years now to get a listing in DMOZ - lol...this is crazy.
It really questions my assumptions on the quality of the directory if it cannot act in a timely manner (even 1-2 months at least).

If what you're looking for is webmaster promotion services in the two-month time frame, might I recommend our ancient and respected non-competitor http://yahoo.com/ ? Although I'm neither a consumer nor a provider of such services, my understanding is that they do offer them. Check out http://looksmart.com also; they have perhaps fewer scruples about site uniqueness.
