how can I get an incorrect listing changed.
There is a company showing our website.
I want this amended..

You can use the "update listing"-link at the top of the page where the site is listed and explain what´s wrong.

My company moved from the Milwauakee area to the other side of the state (by the Twin Cities). I sent a request into DMOZ to correct my information (several months ago) and the listing has not been updated yet. DMOZ had changed my listing information, on my request, about 1 month before we moved. Does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of changes DMOZ allows in a specific period of time? Is there any way I can expedite getting my information corrected?

No limit, but many editors draw the line at nitpicky attempts to constantly rewrite the description and sneak in keywords.

Absolutely not.


Editors usually give a priority to updates -- but the best way for a webmaster to have an update get trashed it to take a legitimate request and use it to try and sneak in a keyword filled title and description. It is not very hard to miss the legit part and kill off the entire update.

We (usually) don't go to your place of business to see if you've actually moved. If the your move is not reflected on the web site, it won't be reflected in the description.
