Our website title of which is “<title>” URL <URL> which is listed under

<category>

as follows

(<ODP listing>)

This title is not correct, the title of our website is “<title>" and because <keyword> is missing from the title on this page it is having an effect on our business, as <keyword> is a prime keyword for our business, is it possible for someone to add <keyword> to our title on the above DMOZ page.

Many Thanks.

Firstly, we aren't at all interested in keyword optimisation. The title shown should be that of the company.

Sadly, there's some confusion about this.

Whois and some parts of the website use London First Choice.
Elsewhere, it's London First Choice Apartments.

When there's consistency, please visit the category and use the Update Listing link. The announcement at the top of this thread will be updated when the facility is available again.

Oh, and you might want to investigate the NOODP tag.

Have you tried a google (or other search provider) search for "NOODP tag"?

Yesterday i sent a thread regarding the wrong title listed for our website <url removed> which was listed as ( First Choice Apartments ) instead of the correct company title ( London First Choice Apartments ) on the following dmoz page -

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Uni...avel_and_Tourism/Accommodation/Self_Catering/

Today having re-checked the above page again we find that our website has been deleted, can someone explain why this has happened ?

We have re-submited our site today.

The forum guidelines do not allow for discussion of specific sites. When a site disappears from public view in the directory it can be the result of an editor or an editing tool going through listings for dead links, and moving sites that don't respond to a holding area for a later re-check. From time to time, listed sites are also re-reviewed (and as an aside it's not unknown for that to happen as a result of the site being mentioned in this forum); sometimes it is found that the site isn't listable under the editor guidelines and so it is removed, and sometimes it is found that the site belonged in another category and it is moved there.

These are the possible cases, and one of them almost certainly applies to your site.

Thank you. {moz}
