Intermittent error on index page

Hi,

I'm getting the following error (intermittently) when I try to access the dmoz homepage:
ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://editors.dmoz.org:8081/

The following error was encountered:
Access Denied.
Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

--------------------

Also, the form is not posting when I try to add a new url to the directory. The page hangs. I've tried it with/without my proxy server being in the loop. I've been trying to post this new site for about a week now (not a rant, just for your information) and the same error has happened each time,

regards,

Mike Brady

My understanding is that this is part of the ongoing troubleshooting effort related to submission errors. In my experience if you wait a moment and then refresh, the page will be displayed.

I'm getting this across the spectrum, on random pages. However, virtually every time I try to 'submit' my site the CGI either times out or I get the error mentioned previously.

Also, when I try to volunteer to become an editor, I get the 'Access Denied' error every time.

Any ideas? I really want to help and get my site submitted but this is getting frustrating!

thanks

I tried the "become an editor" link just now, and it worked for me. Keep trying and if you get an access denied error message, try refloading the page.
