Is 2 years long enough to add my site?

Seems like two is should be enough time to add my site. There are no reasons on my site why it should not be included. Every 4 months I try a different category, assuming that I submitted to the wrong one. Maybe I have an inactive editor. How can I find this out?

So, over 2 years you've suggested your site to 6 different categories? Did you miss http://editors.dmoz.org/add.html , which says "Identify the single best category for your site."? I would recommend that you not suggest your site again but rather that you wait for someone to eventually review one of the suggestions you've already made.

There are no reasons on my site why it should not be included.
The usual reason for a listable to not be listed yet is that no one has gotten around to reviewing it. It can take years.

Maybe I have an inactive editor. How can I find this out?
You can't. You can look at the bottom of the category to see if there's a listed editor there but any editor of the parent categories can edit there as can the 200+ Editall+ editors.

So as I read in another thread, just go to the next higher category, and submit to them? Sounds good, thanks. I need to make a website that publishes this information so everyone in the world will find out how get in this secret club.

I'd say that you misread that thread completely.

The only 'secret club' that would get anyone into is the 'permanently banned spammers club'.

Of course, a bit of candor here would be useful.

In another thread you've admitted that you have more than one site for the business in question, and if you have submitted both sites you are in violation of our submittal policies.

So, let's have a bit of disclosure here:

How many sites do you have?
How many of them have you suggested?
What categories have you suggested them to (a list of categories would be helpful)?
Where did you read that you could just suggest to the next higher category?

The other two sites are different. One is listed, I gave up on the other one. I am trying to add this listing as a wedding directory, and employ no spam tactics.

I read in a previous thread, posted only a few days before me that you can suggest to the next higher category, becuase there may not be an editor for your category. Also, that's what I got for the last sentence from motsa.

The last sentence from me answered your question about how do you tell if you have an inactive editor. The sentence in question explained who can edit in any given category; it didn't tell you to suggest your site to a parent category. And you seem to have completely missed the part where I wrote "I would recommend that you not suggest your site again."
